Wales
Why are people losing the plot over how good Wales are or could be? Chris Coleman has been banging on today about how they've got such a great future ahead of them as if they're all 19 and they've made the semis.

They were woeful against an average England team playing like a non league team drawn against a premier league side in the fa cup, their highlights being a shit goal the keeper should have saved and Aaron Ramsey basically seeing how many fouls he could commit without getting carded. They weren't much better against Slovakia

Have I missed something? Not saying I want them to do badly, despite their seeming hatred of the English, I'd be chuffed if all the home nations got out their groups, but wales have been shit

Yes, heaven forbid a manager should have faith in his side and talk them up

Is he going to say. "We're a bit crap to be honest boyoh".

I've seen much, much better Welsh sides fail.

But this is new football and practically every side gets out of the groups.

Re: Wales
I think it's more to do with the fact they are bang average, but have an unreal team togetherness and what they've achieved just goes to show you don't need a load of talented individuals like England or Belgium to be successful.

What they have achieved for such a small country from where they were is worthy of praise.

However we made them look what they really are, bang average with 1 proper world class player.

Re: Wales
Coleman got it badly wrong against England. They played for the draw from the off. Should have, and could have brought the game to us much more. I think that sort of negativity breeds underachievement.

Are they bang average?

I see that Russia have been designated the home side so the official hashtag for their game against Wales is #RUSWAL.
UEFA could have bent the rules a bit and made it #WALRUS surely?

Well yeah, but its not 'Men of Harlech' is it? I imagine it whenever they're putting up a stout defence.

Sven, I like that. Well done.

stomper, I think Land of My Fathers is better than Men of Harlech, especially when sung in Welsh

All thus 'team togetherness' bollocks I keep reading, what a load of old cunt.

It's pretty simple, they're just well organised, very defensive, and happen to have a true world class player who can make the difference in tight games. They won't qualify for the world cup though, just watch.

Re: Wales
It's like Bale giving it large about their PASSION, I know he was just stirring the pot, but people do believe that fucking shit. Seemed to be lacking on Thursday?

Fucking annoys me as well how our players have to be mutes, because if they dare have a pop back, they'd get fucking slaughtered. After Bale said about no England players would get in the Wales side, I was desperate for one of ours to say in response 'Well, apart from the Englishmen who are already in their side'

WALLOP, have that ugly boy. But our lost are too scared because our own press ruin them.
